We collect only the information necessary to provide technical support and verify your identity.
A. Information You Provide
- Contact Data: Name, email address, and phone number when you book a session via Calendly.
- Session Data: Information you verbally provide or show during a Zoom screen-sharing session regarding your technical issue.
- Payment Data: Credit card information, processed securely by Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
B. Automated Collection
- Device Logs: Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type) when you visit our website, used for security and debugging.
- Cookies: We use minimal functional cookies necessary for site operation. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
2. How We Use Information
Your data is used strictly for operational purposes:
- To schedule and conduct remote technical support sessions.
- To process payments and prevent fraudulent transactions.
- To communicate with you regarding your booking, invoices, or service updates.
- To comply with legal obligations and tax requirements.
3. Identity Verification & Biometrics
When you undergo verification, Stripe may collect:
- Images of your government-issued ID (front and back).
- Selfie images for facial recognition matching.
- Biometric identifiers derived from these images.
- In the absence of fraud indicators, this data is redacted on our end after 30 days. We reserve the right to retain data longer if fraud is suspected, and share it with appropriate investigatory authorities. Note that Stripe retains data independently of No Errors, and you must contact them should you wish for them to also delete your data.
Consent: By initiating the verification process, you explicitly consent to the collection and processing of this biometric data by Stripe and No Errors.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted and industry standard third-party service providers necessary to run our business. This may include, but is not limited to:
- Stripe: Payment processing and identity verification.
- Calendly: Appointment scheduling.
- Zoom: Video conferencing and screen sharing.
- Google: Email and document hosting.
We may also disclose information if required by law, such as in response to a subpoena or to protect the safety of our technicians.
5. Data Retention
Our Principle: "Zero Retention" where possible. We aim to retain the absolute minimum amount of data required.
- Session Content: We do not record video/audio of sessions unless explicitly requested and mutually agreed upon.
- Verification Data: Retained by Stripe according to their retention policies. We retain verification data via Stripe for up to 30 days unless we suspect fraud, in which case it may be retained indefinitely.
- Billing Records: Retained for 7 years to comply with tax regulations.
6. Security Protocols
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
- All website traffic is encrypted via TLS/SSL (HTTPS).
- We use Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on all administrative accounts (Stripe, Google, Zoom).
- We do not store sensitive payment or ID data on local devices.
7. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.
